The art of taking your time, indoors and out
A few minutes here is rarely enough to see it all. Take your time to linger — that’s exactly the spirit of the house.
Aveline Maxence
“I founded L’Art de la Table in Lamalou-les-Bains with one simple conviction: the time we spend around a table — indoors or out — deserves the greatest care. Every piece we offer, I choose as if it were meant to welcome my own family, for a long time to come.”
Our journey
A young brand, but standards we never compromise on, from day one.
The starting point
It all started with something we noticed ourselves, while furnishing our own home: finding furniture beautiful enough to last, and sturdy enough to survive family meals, returning summers and passing winters, often felt like a puzzle. On one side, cheap furniture that didn’t survive a single season. On the other, stunning pieces out of reach. In between, almost nothing. It’s from that gap that the idea for L’Art de la Table was born.

Choosing the materials
We took the time to test, compare and rule things out — without rushing. Solid acacia, powder-coated aluminium, woven resin, tempered glass for the outdoors; solid wood and marble for indoors: every material was chosen for how well it would age, season after season, year after year. No compromise on durability, even when it costs more to produce — because furniture you still love ten years on is priceless.

The store opens
From Lamalou-les-Bains, in the south of France, L’Art de la Table opens its doors online. A first collection designed for terraces, gardens and balconies of every size, with one requirement: that every piece delivered be one we’d have chosen for our own garden.

Opening up to the interior
Our customers kept asking us the same question, year after year: “What about indoors — do you have the same standards?” So we opened a collection dedicated to the home: dining tables in wood or marble, coffee tables, table-and-chair sets, dining chairs — designed for dinners that run long as much as for quiet evenings with family. The same principle as outdoors: materials we can name, a tight selection, nothing superfluous.

A standard that never changes
Our catalogue keeps growing — now indoors as much as out — but our approach doesn’t change: noble materials, a rigorous selection, customer service that actually answers, from a real person, not a bot. Every new piece is still chosen one by one, with the same standard as on day one: that it deserves to stay in your home for a long time.

Made with care, chosen without rushing, and lastingly loved by our customers — indoors and out.
Take your time to look around. We’d rather you choose well than choose fast.
